Stepping into September..

Looking back at my posts written this Summer, the most recurring words on this blog have been "hot, heat, burning sun, blinding sun"...and what do you get in a weather like ours???
Treasure chests filled with red gold, of course!!!
Just the latest crates of tomatoes harvested, many more were given away during the past weeks...and many more tomatoes are ripening in the jungle!
In my 30 years I cannot really remember such a productive harvest for tomatoes...needless to tell you in how many ways we're having tomatoes, right?! ..I have enough!
It cannot be September without posting a shot of Morning Glories....
...and the different palette of colours that this month brings....
And for those of you interested in knowing what the weird English weeds turned out to be...well, they're pretty pink and scented "beans"!!! Yay!
And just in case you'd like to know the forecast for the weekend and the weeks ahead...hot and sunny, could it be different?! LOL!

I wish to be so spoilt like yourself with THE ABUNDANCE of tomatoes!!!

And yes, it is hot hot hot. Very unexpected. We all thought it is going to be the end of Summer this week :D But, who knows!

What plans do you have for this hot weekend? Be careful about the melanin.

I can almost feel the heat of the sun when I look at those tomatoes: the fragrance too.

It is raining, again, here.

Hey Michela! Well, your tomato harvest does look impressive. I wish I could say the same about weather though... This summer was horrible in my part of the world... Enjoy your last days of heat and take care!

Hi Michela the garden fairy!
Your tomatoes are amazing! May I have some fresh Italian pasta sauce, please?
Jeff's tomatoes are also very prolific! I think I might make a little salsa today.

An impressive tomato crop, I love the title for this post Michela and the addition of the log and hay photos. Make the most of the weather today as storms forecast for all over Italy!
