WHERE : Piazzola sul Brenta in the nearby of Padua, in front of this majestic "farmhouse" of the mid-17th century
WHAT : one of the largets vintage market in Northern Italy, with a wide selection of antique furniture, vases, camera, records, books, radios, prints and paintings, jewelry, clocks, pottery ans military stuff.
WHAT CAUGHT MY EYE: pre-blogging era.....
...a place where a lot of you would have had a rummage..buttons, buttons and buttons!
...Isn't this pram cute?!
..As it wasn't enough wandering around the village and the Villa, there was also a huge disused warehouse...for the grand total of 1200 stalls!
..Tins :-) ...this picture is a reminder for my mum on how to display lovely stuff instead of letting it getting rusty in the garage ;D...

Oh Michela! How wonderful! I love your pretty glassware and peeking into this Italian vintage world is a HUGE treat!
Oh mamma mia! :D
1200 stalls? And to earn 3000 with toys?
I've chosen a wrong hobby!
Was it crowded, despite the cold?
My head is spinning at the size if that fair and all the goodies on offer!
The glassware you bought looks very pretty.

Oh you had a great sunday indeed. Happy to get a glimpse of this fabulous market.
And oh ... those buttons ...
Michela that was so mean!! You know how envious of you we are don't you? Those buttons alone would be enough for many of us. What an amazing fair and so huge as well. We are glad that even though you forgot your gloves and scarf you remembered your camera, you are a good blogger.
I don't think that anything like a vintage overdose really does exist! I love that market, the bigger the better, don't you think?!
Oh wow, that looked fantastic. I would have been in my element!

I think you would need more than a day there. Your glasses are such pretty colours and I don't think I've ever seen so many buttons in one place:)
Were your ears burning on Saturday? Why did Lyn pinch my rosy cheeks?? xxxxxxxxx
Sounds like heaven to me, all those fabulous stalls! I could spend days and days there.
What a wonderful vintage fair that was. I think i even spotted an old Olivetti typewriter like the one my parents gave me when I was 15!
Nice collections, Michela. I keep fantasicing about those old colourful metallic jars... but always when it comes to buying them I keep changing my mind. Just being weird I guess :)
